Our story
Our story starts, as many beautiful stories do, at home. We bought a fixer-upper house a few years ago and in 2020, we set upon our biggest DIY task to date: two double built-in wardrobes with rattan fronts. It was then Rob fell in love with woodwork. By the end of the year, we started our business.
Rob has always been practical, with an innate talent for fixing things. Melissa has a background in creative design, a passionate lover of the arts and nature. Together. we marry form and function.
Our ethos remains the same as it has always been, to produce the highest quality furniture that is sustainable not only through material selection, but by creating furniture that lasts and can be passed on through generations.

Anti waste
We often reuse boxes from local DIY stores to package our items and we never use plastic packing materials. Even our sawdust is collected and used for horse bedding!
Where it all began
The workshop at the end of our garden is where we designed, made and packed everything for the first three years of Grove. That's over 1,500 pieces of homeware and furniture born out of this little space. It's mad to think how we did it!
